Installing BIOS/Emulator Files[edit]

BIOS files go into the USB Drive \System\Bios\ folder.
Retroarch[edit]
BIOS Files go into the USB drive \RetroArch\system\ folder.
SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive Mini[edit]
SEGA/MEGA CD BIOS Information[edit]
Whether you're using RetroArch or Emulation Station, BIOS images are required for emulation of Mega/Sega CD.
USA/NORTH AMERICA
bios_CD_U.bin
EUROPE
bios_CD_E.bin
JAPAN
bios_CD_J.bin
For obvious legal reasons we're not able to provide the bios files, so you'll have obtain those on your own. Once you've got the files, Copy them to the proper directory as listed below.
For Project Lunar users bios files should be placed into project_lunar\retroarch\system
Don't forget to install the cores!

SEGA/MEGA CD CORES[edit]
Project Lunar users will add/install cores into project_lunar\retroarch\cores
Their are two cores for this system, both have their own pros and cons, so it's best to install both.
Genesis Plus GX:
genesis_plus_gx_libretro.so
The Genesis Plus GX core is capable of handling .chd files. Which not only saves precious storage space, but helps keep things clean and tidy looking as well. However, it can not handle mutli-disk games, for that you'll want to use Picodrive.
Picodrive:
picodrive_libretro.so
While Picodrive can handle multi-disk games, it unfortunately at this time cannot handle .chd files, so for those, you'll want to use the Genesis Plus GX Core.
