Obtaining a NAND-B decrypted image[edit]

  • Open Hakchi, and connect the SNES Classic to the computer.
  • In the menu: Kernel -> Advanced -> Dump decrypted system software
  • It creates a .hsqs file archive (default name nandb.hsqs)

Extracting the ROMs[edit]

  • The .hsqs is a .zip archive. Unzip it.
  • The ROMs are located in the \usr\share\games\nes\kachikachi\*\ folders, they are in the .nes format, readily usable by an emulator.

SEGA Mega Drive and Genesis Classics on Steam installs a folder called "Uncompressed ROMs".

On Windows, the ROMs can be found in:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sega Classics\uncompressed ROMs\
