Description The official DVD remote control for the Xbox video game console. This remote and IR dongle were required to play DVDs on the system, as Microsoft didn't want to pay for DVD movie licensing on every Xbox sold. The separate and required remote incorporated the cost of the license into it, meaning only people who wanted to watch movies on it paid for it.
